Overview
In Learn → Academic Halfday, find Perfusion and congestion in the bedside section. Drag directly on the map: right increases congestion; down reduces perfusion. The wedge-pressure and cardiac-index graph below the map updates with the lung graphic.
Horizontal movement changes the modeled wedge/filling pressure while retaining the chosen cardiac-index setting. Vertical movement changes modeled cardiac index without forcing lung edema. Warm/wet and cold/dry are therefore available as well as warm/dry and cold/wet.
The center lines are PAWP 18 mmHg and cardiac index 2.2 L/min/m². Cold/low flow is CI ≤2.2; wet is PAWP >18. A low cardiac index alone does not establish clinical shock. Focus the map and use arrow keys for keyboard adjustment; Shift makes larger steps. These are illustrative clinical profiles and numerical interpolations, not measurements of skin temperature, fluid responsiveness or a universal edema threshold.
