Controls & baseline vitals

Where do I add ASD, PAPVR, PDA, VSD or Eisenmenger physiology?

Use Intracardiac Shunts in Clinical controls.

Overview

Intracardiac Shunts contains ASD, PAPVR, PDA and Large VSD, with Eisenmenger physiology as the advanced pulmonary-vascular option. Shunts can interact with other selected conditions and interventions.

The presets use illustrative anatomy and flow relationships. They are not patient-specific defect measurements, and the named ASD teaching example does not force Qp/Qs to remain above 1.5 after every possible change in PVR, SVR or support.

Review the added flow/saturation information in the summary. Shunt configurations replace ordinary non-shunt output displays where their measurement assumptions would no longer apply.
