Overview
Pause over the RV or LV trace to inspect its phase-specific description. Compare systolic pressure with the downstream artery and inspect the filling portion separately.
The minimum ventricular pressure during relaxation is not the same measurement as EDP just before systole. In the table, use the separately labeled LVEDP when discussing left ventricular filling pressure.
Restriction, constriction, valve obstruction and support each alter the modeled contour. The pause-only comparison for restriction/constriction adds aligned ventricular and atrial information.
