Overview
ART is the systemic arterial tracing. Ao is the aortic reference channel. When IABP is active, Ao+ shows the augmented aortic signal and IAB shows the balloon-pressure timing.
The dicrotic notch represents the modeled aortic-valve closure feature. Its timing matters for balloon inflation. Use the paused inspector for ejection, closure and diastolic runoff descriptions.
With continuous-flow support, the mean pressure can be sustained while native pulsatility becomes small. A flat or nearly flat arterial trace in that setting is not automatically a zero-flow state.
