Ischemic Cardiomyopathy

Chronic ischemic LV systolic dysfunction with reduced forward output and elevated left-sided filling pressures.

Overview

Select Ischemic Cardiomyopathy under Clinical controls → Cardiomyopathy. The bold italic live label confirms the active selection. These are the preset’s teaching features; combined disease, rate and interventions can change the resulting numbers.

Chronic ischemic LV systolic dysfunction with reduced forward output and elevated left-sided filling pressures.

Wedge and LV end-diastolic pressures rise with congestion; forward flow decreases with decompensation.

These pressures can resemble nonischemic dilated cardiomyopathy; the cause requires clinical and coronary evaluation.

ECG variants illustrate prior injury or conduction abnormalities; they do not establish active ischemia.

Step by step

  1. Reset interventions if you want the untreated example.
  2. Select the condition and inspect the pressure summary and relevant waveforms.
  3. Pause for annotations; add one intervention or loading change to compare the response.
