Vasovagal Response

Mixed vasodepressor/cardioinhibitory teaching example with sinus bradycardia, low filling and reduced perfusion.

Overview

Select Vasovagal Response under Clinical controls → Hemodynamic state. The bold italic live label confirms the active selection. These are the preset’s teaching features; combined disease, rate and interventions can change the resulting numbers.

Mixed vasodepressor/cardioinhibitory teaching example with sinus bradycardia, low filling and reduced perfusion.

Vagal activation slows sinus/AV-nodal activity while loss of sympathetic tone lowers pressure.

Choose sinus pauses, sinus arrest or Wenckebach to illustrate different cardioinhibitory patterns.

These are selectable phenotypes, not an inevitable sequence; atropine can improve rate while vasodilation persists.

Step by step

  1. Reset interventions if you want the untreated example.
  2. Select the condition and inspect the pressure summary and relevant waveforms.
  3. Pause for annotations; add one intervention or loading change to compare the response.
