Overview
Select Chronic Severe Mitral Regurgitation under Clinical controls → Valves. The bold italic live label confirms the active selection. These are the preset’s teaching features; combined disease, rate and interventions can change the resulting numbers.
Chronic severe MR with modest LA pressure elevation, a prominent v wave and preserved resting forward flow. This isolated-valve example does not assume pulmonary vascular remodeling.
A prominent wedge v wave reflects systolic LA loading, but does not independently grade MR.
This is an isolated valve phenotype with normal PVR. Pulmonary hypertension can be added to represent a precapillary component.
Congestion is not obligatory in chronic valve disease. Add filling pressure or myocardial dysfunction to explore decompensation.
