Cardiac cycle & imaging

How do I explore the synchronized ECG, Wiggers and PV loop?

Pause, then hover over the ECG, Wiggers diagram or active PV loop; touch and drag on mobile.

Overview

The cardiac-cycle study keeps the ECG, Wiggers figure and selected ventricular pressure–volume loop in a consistent arrangement. Live playback moves their phase indicators together. When paused, hover over the ECG or Wiggers plot to explore the cycle. The white ECG marker, vertical Wiggers cursor and PV point move together.

The separate slider has been removed. Moving across either plot updates the highlighted ECG segment, cardiac-cycle phase and current point on the PV loop without changing the disease or intervention. Arrow keys also control time when a plot is focused.

On mobile, tap or drag directly on the ECG or Wiggers plot. Collapse drawers and unnecessary traces to give the figures more room.

Step by step

  1. Show Echo & cardiac cycle and the Pressure–volume loop as needed.
  2. Pause the monitor.
  3. Hover or touch the ECG or Wiggers plot; observe all linked indicators.
  4. Resume to return to live timing.
