Surgical tricuspid valve

Find Surgical tricuspid valve in Experimental. Surgical replacement corrects native tricuspid regurgitation or stenosis, reducing RA valve-related pressure burden. RV afterload can increase after eliminating TR.

Overview

Open Interventions → Experimental. Choose Off, Treated. Effect levels and flow targets represent illustrative modeled responses; they are not clinical dose instructions.

Surgical replacement corrects native tricuspid regurgitation or stenosis, reducing RA valve-related pressure burden. RV afterload can increase after eliminating TR.

The paused reference covers the route (Surgical tricuspid valve replacement; a functioning tissue prosthesis is assumed.), example doses/settings, indications, adverse effects, contraindications/precautions and monitoring. These details are available after the intervention is selected.

What to monitor in the reference: RA pressure and waveform, RV function, output, pulmonary pressures and prosthetic function. Valve correction does not cure pulmonary hypertension.

Step by step

  1. Inspect the untreated disease and active treatment count.
  2. Apply the intervention and compare pressures, forward flow, rhythm and congestion.
  3. Pause for its full reference; use Off or Interventions Reset to restart the comparison.
