How the model works

How the simulator works

An indexed reference to the physiology, equations, traces and assumptions behind Circulation Studio.

Overview

Circulation Studio is a literature-informed cardiovascular teaching model using synthesized hemodynamic data. It is not validated for clinical decision making or patient care. This reference explains the current implementation rather than presenting every output as a biological fact.

Start with the calculation order, then follow a topic below. Each article separates the modeled relationship, the display or measurement derived from it, and important assumptions. The disease, rhythm and intervention wiki entries provide the individual selectable examples; this section explains what connects them.
