Waveforms & measurements

How do I read the hemodynamic summary table?

Sys, Dia and Mean describe the waveform; LVEDP and mean wedge are shown side by side.

Overview

Use Summary near the playback controls to bring the hemodynamic table into view. It includes RA, RV, PA, wedge/LA proxy, LV and aorta/systemic pressures, plus LVEDP, RVEDP, mean wedge, forward output and resistance.

Sys is the waveform maximum and Dia is the minimum over the modeled sample. For RA and wedge these are peaks and troughs, not ventricular systolic and diastolic pressures. Ventricular Dia is the minimum, not its end-diastolic pressure.

Mean is the time average over 48 modeled beats, including respiratory changes and IABP augmentation when present. LVEDP and mean wedge appear side by side in the live vital cards, compact scrolling readout and summary metrics. LVEDP is end-diastolic ventricular pressure; mean wedge is a time-averaged LA-pressure proxy. Pressures display as whole mmHg; hidden or unavailable measurements appear as a dash.
