Where is the restriction-versus-constriction comparison?

Select one of those conditions and pause with the pullback visible.

Overview

The additional comparison appears only when restrictive cardiomyopathy or constrictive pericardial disease is selected and the monitor is paused with the LV pullback visible. It aligns LV/RV pressures and superimposed atrial information.

The comparison describes EDP separation, RVEDP/RVSP, PA systolic pressure, early filling and respiratory relationships. Use the displayed metrics and phase explanations together; no single cutoff alone proves the diagnosis.

Respiratory ventricular interdependence is part of the constriction example. Mixed disease or altered loading can complicate simple textbook thresholds, so the model’s comparison remains an illustrative teaching framework.
